NY SHOW

here are some pieces i did for my show at Ad Hoc Art Gallery in Brooklyn this friday! The central theme to all these pieces are my vision of a not to distant future in regards to social and political aspects. i use experiences from my daily life to illustrate my ideas using symbols such as mutated people and familiar mundane day to day objects. i'll also be showing with Hiro Kurata, a dope ny artist, he's one to look out for. all pieces are available for sale starting june 26th through Ad Hoc Art!

i designed some board shorts with my 90's camo pattern for atwater a while back and they are finally coming out this summer, they will definitely get you noticed on the beach!



i've been rocking the material for the last 6 months on my dj headphones and now you can get your own pair!

BACK TO THE YAY AREA

took another trip down to sf, visited family and friends.

grabbed some real chinese food in china town

dropped by golden gate, always reminds me of my dad

then i visited david choong lee's new studio, he was getting ready for a show in arizona. he is so welcoming and nice, when i grow up i want to be like him!

most of the galleries were in the process of setting up a show so didnt get to see much art but i did get to see a video game show at gr2, heres me reminiscing

takes me back to ditching highschool and droppin quarters at the donut shop.

SUGAR HILL

not to long ago, i gotta call from le deux, an exclusive night spot in hollywood, to fix a mural for them that they had gotten done for a sugar hill gang performance. they called me at the last minute and gave me like an hour and a half to do something with it. i wasnt happy with the finished product but i got to meet the sugar hill gang, yes!

DAY OFF!

Got a chance to relax for a day, so started the day with a morning bike ride down to the ocean.

this is downtown long beach, i live 5 minutes from this spot!

then drove down to culver city to check out kaws's show, sick ass work!

then a couple of steps down checked out some show by a dope artist, i forgot his name.


then we checked out royal t in culver city, its a very cool costumed theme art cafe. there was a show kaws curated in there.

then we hit up the monthly krank mob ride. 800 or so people riding their bikes from culver city through hollywood blvd at midnight against an angry clubbing crowd to silverlake and then chinatown. was off the chain!

and to cap the night off, went back to hollywood and djed for sgp, what a day!

BIKE FESTS AND GONDRY!

the city of long beach hit me up and asked me to dj day one of their bike fest. this day was for the yong street bikers and fixie kids, i was like hell yeah!
it was fun djing in my back yard, right in the middle of downtown.

the hipster kids were out, she was gorgeous!

they had competitions


it was a great day with hipsters, kids, families and freinds.

the streets filled up all day long


after that went down to the hammer in LA to check out a lecture by my favorite director, michel gondry

my buddy tamago was in his own world
